The Bona Thompson Memorial Center offers your small event a flexible facility rich in history.
The Bona Thompson was Butler’s library and a central meeting place from its construction in 1903 to Butler’s move to Fairview Park in 1928. Designed by the architect Jesse T. Johnson in the Neoclassical Revival style, it is the only building remaining of Butler’s Irvington campus.
Today, the Bona showcases art and artifacts from the collections of the Irvington Historical Society and continues to offer gathering space in the heart of Irvington. Two open galleries and a catering kitchen allow your event to separate activities yet remain in a single classic site.
We invite you to visit the Bona to determine if the space is right for your event.
